Two legislators are pushing for changes to the waste management law that would allow businesses in Costa Rica to receive waste from abroad that requires special handling. Opposed to the proposal is the ministry of health, social security fund and customs agency.

First-What kind of waste?
Second-Does Costa Rica have the facility to neutralize?
Look to your existing pollution just from sewage (black water) in rivers and ocean.
Has some of these people gone crazy??!! What area of this wonderful country will they destroy with this waste?? Shame on them!!!!!!!!
There is more than enough wate here that needs to be cleaned up already.
